Our Story
Divera was born from lived work — not a business plan.
The roots of Divera began in 2019 (originally known as GenCore Leadership), inside Genesa CPA Corp., where the early ideas of heart‑centered transformation and leadership partnership first took shape.
In 2017, Vanessa Luv took on Azucar (founder of Genesa CPA) as a mentor and worked closely alongside him. Together, they began exploring the intersection of people, leadership, and growth. They had a shared vision of developing an empowered team of heart-led and courageous leaders who would change the business landscape through how they showed up.
In 2023, GenCore was consciously reintroduced into the world as Divera — not as something new, but as something ready to stand on its own. It was launched during one of the most turbulent periods of the founder’s life — a season marked by grief, change, and profound letting go.
What felt unstable at the time became the foundation. That period clarified what truly mattered: presence over performance, integrity over urgency, and love over fear.
Divera was not built despite that season — it was built because of it.
Vanessa Luv is the founder of Divera, a people, transformation, and culture partnership created for leaders navigating growth, change, and complexity. Her work sits at the intersection of leadership, systems, and humanity; helping organizations evolve without losing trust, clarity, or themselves in the process.
Vanessa’s professional background spans marketing, business development, and leadership development, with over a decade of experience building and scaling initiatives within growing organizations and entrepreneurial ecosystems. Her work has consistently focused on translating vision into execution, strengthening relationships, and creating environments where people and performance can grow together.
She has been deeply active in the business and leadership community as a convener, facilitator, and contributor. Vanessa has led and hosted numerous initiatives, including the Connecting Curious Minds Leadership Conference, The Biz Connect Networking Series, and a range of leadership workshops designed to foster self-awareness, courage, and meaningful connection among professionals and founders.
From 2019 to 2022, Vanessa served on the Board of Directors for the Association of Women in Finance, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to advancing women’s leadership and representation in the financial sector. This role reflected her ongoing commitment to community-building, mentorship, and creating spaces where women can lead without needing to shrink or conform.
Vanessa is also an experienced keynote speaker, known for sharing her lived leadership experiences with honesty and depth. Her speaking work centers on redefining leadership as something deeply human - grounded in presence, self-awareness, and integrity. Whether on stage or in intimate rooms, she is recognized for her ability to hold space and create moments of clarity and connection.
Through Divera, Vanessa partners closely with founders and leadership teams as a fractional advisor, working from the inside to support people, culture, and change initiatives that are both strategic and relational. Her approach is calm, intentional, and trust-based, favoring depth over display and progress that is held, not rushed.
At the core of Vanessa’s work is a belief that leadership is not about control or image, but about how we show up, and that when people are met with clarity, trust, and care, meaningful transformation becomes possible.

Vanessa is the founder of Connecting Curious Minds. Connecting Curious Minds is a leadership conference that first launched in Victoria, BC in 2018 before making its way to Vancouver, BC in 2019. The conference brought together corporations, business owners and professionals with a common vision to elevate the world of business.
